Mike brings more than 20 years of residential construction and operations experience to Pinyon, along with a reputation for strong leadership, thoughtful problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Throughout his career, Mike has built, managed, and overseen hundreds of homes across Central Texas, developing a deep understanding of every phase of the homebuilding process – from site evaluation and budgeting to construction management and client service.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mike combines technical expertise with practical field experience. His career has spanned roles as Builder, Area Construction Manager, and General Manager, giving him a unique perspective on both the day-to-day details of construction and the broader operational strategies required to deliver exceptional homes and experiences.

Prior to joining Pinyon, Mike served as General Manager of the Build on Your Lot division for Drees Custom Homes in Austin, where he managed complex custom home projects, guided multidisciplinary teams, implemented process improvements, and developed strategies that allow clients to enjoy a seamless and rewarding homebuilding experience.

Mike grew up in Lockhart—the BBQ Capital of Texas—where his appreciation for great barbecue began at an early age. Today, he and his wife, Mandy, a fellow Aggie, are raising their daughters on equal parts Texas A&M sports, family traditions, and a healthy respect for good brisket. When he's not overseeing construction projects, Mike enjoys spending time hunting, golfing, and admiring classic cars. His commitment to family, teamwork, and hard work shapes both his personal life and professional approach, bringing authenticity, dedication, and integrity to every relationship and project.
